Jiang Mianheng (; born 1951) is a Chinese academic and business executive. He has served as Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the first President of ShanghaiTech University. He is the son of Jiang Zemin, former President of China and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and his wife Wang Yeping. Jiang is one of the co-founders of the Shanghai-based Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, which gained some coverage in the US press for their employment of Bush family member Neil Bush as a general consultant.〔(Bush's younger brother quizzed over $2m deal - www.smh.com.au )〕 He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University with thesis titled ''Point contact tunneling study of the high transition temperature superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8'' in 1991,〔(Chinese Academy of Sciences )〕 where his father went for a visit in 1997.〔()〕 Jiang also served as one of the head researchers for the Chinese space program. In 2007, he failed to win nomination as a delegate to the 17th Party Congress. Reuters indicated that this was a sign that the Shanghai Clique under his father's auspices had lost its power.
